My brother Jerry Grisham and I are working on the family of the Rock Bluff Baptist Church, Comanche Co., TX.
We need help on the following family:
James Henry Layton married Feb. 30, 1901 in Comanche Co., TX to Virginia Ellen "Jennie" Smith. She was the daughter of John Lee A. Smith and Mollie I Bennett.
They had the following children:
Alan/Olen P. Layton (born about 1902)
Mary M. "Vinie" Layton (about 1903)
Henry Ernes Layton(about 1906) married Loraine
Lelia A. Layton(about 1909)
Ira Della Layton(about 1909 married Walter Parker Hays
Bernice Layton (about 1914)
Aubra Layton (Oct 18, 1916
Juanita Layton (19-1921)
Wilford Layton (about 1924)
Neva Layton (about 1926)
This family lived in
