I am trying to track the decendents of the following individuals:
(1) John Laymon b 1750, d 1834 Bartholomew Co.,IN - lived in Shelby Co.,IN(1829-32); Warren Co.,OH(1805-1829); Hamilton Co.,OH(1794-1805); Bath Co.,KY (1793-94); Washington Co.,TN(1786-1792); and Fauquier Co.,VA (1771). Marriage (1) Magdalene Humston(?) and (2) Jane Goodpasture. Twelve known children: Abraham, William, John, David, Silas, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, Bartlett, Joseph, Jesse, Hester, and Martin (all by second marriage). Probably also children by first marriage, but unknown at this time.
(2) Joseph Laymon b 1760-1770, d abt 1842 Clermont Co., OH - lived in Clermont Co.,OH(1818-1842); Kentucky(1807-1818);Tennessee (?-1807). Marriage ? Known children: Benjamin, William, Elijah, John, Hester, Susan, Elisabeth, Mary, Joseph, and James.
(3) Jacob Laymon b 1778 VA, d 1858, Clinton Co., OH. - lived in Tennessee (1800-1814); Warren Co.,OH(1814-1815); probably Kentucky(1815-1818); Clermont Co.,OH(1818-1820?); Clinton Co.,OH(1820?-1858). Marriage Mary Taylor,1799. Children: John, Ann, Elizabeth, Tavenor, Laodica, Nancy, Joseph, Silas, Mary, and Amos Jacob was a Baptist Minister.
These three Laymons are very closely related, possibly brother or at least cousins. I am interested in contacting any decendents of these three indivduals. Steve Laymon
