William & Agnes Layland had 7 sons & 1 daughter.
Edward- my 2 great grandfather
George
William
Peter
I was told by different family members that all except: EDWARD changed the spelling to LEYLAND. (JUST RUMOR)
William (I think) moved to California
Peter moved to Kansas
George's side moved to Canada
Edward stayed in Keene/Cleburne area
I don't know about the other ones. What happened to them? I recently sent a letter to a MARTIN LAYLAND, and a WILLIAM LAYLAND both in California. Maybe they'll have something to contribute to this. My husband thinks I'm obsessed on this family history stuff. I'm just curious about our family, our whereabouts now, and what we were back in England.
