First American marriage was John Laydon

Just a bit of info for Laydon researchers: The first recorded marriage in America, was 13 year old Anne Burras and John Laydon,26 in a civil ceremony in Dec. 1608. He was a carpenter in the first permanent settlement in America in what is now Virginia. They both were from England, she from London.
