Thanks for your reply. I have a Mildred Lax
(Lacks) married Anderson Seamster February 1, 1871. She's the daughter of Robert and Mary (Polly) Lax. On the 1850, 1860, 1870 census I can find Robert and Mary and daughter. On the internet I find Joel Lax, son of William Lax III born 1770 died 1828 married Mary (Polly) Puckett. Their children, William, Elizabeth married David Owen, Susannah married John Lax son of Benjamin - cousin, Obedience Lax married Timothy Childress son of Susannah and Abraham - cousin. Timothy is also a witness on a few Seamster marriages. Tabith Lax married Timothy Lax also a son of Benjamin, Mary Lax married Alexander Gordon Younger and then Robert who married Mary Conner.
Any info on any of them?
