Hello Jennifer,
In case no one else has answered you, I do have a bit of information for you.
Darius Perry Lawton was born April 7, 1785 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island. He died October 19, 1862 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. In 1811, he owned a woolen factory in Plainfield, Windham County, Connecticut. He sold it to William Almy in 1826.
His parents were Giles Lawton and Ann Perry.
The first wife of Darius was Susanna Lawton. Susanna was born October 5, 1795 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island and died July 10, 1832 in Plainfield. They were married May 11, 1814 and had seven children. Susanna was the daughter of Peter Lawton and Waite Borden. Peter's parents were Isaac Lawton and Mary Fish, who were my 5th great-grandparents.
The second wife of Darius was Betsey Fisk. They married March 12, 1833. She was born in 1801 and died April 5, 1878 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. They had two daughters.
If you want more information on the family, let me know.
I have quite a few Job Lawtons listed on the Lawton tree but I couldn't find any that fit into the data you have.
Togin (Lawton) Cassell
