I have reason to believe that there might have been one more son born to Thomas D. Lawrence. It is possible that John Lawrence was also a son.He migrated to Massac County, Illinois and was listed in the 1850 census there. His wife and children were with him at that time.By the 1860 census, in Johnson County, Illinois, I found the children with Henry G. Lawrence, son of Thomas.I believe that John was his brother. What other reason would there be for John and Sarah, his wife, to die and the children were taken in by Henry?Johnson County is about 20 miles from where John Lawrnece lived at the 1850 census.John listed Virginia as his birthplace and he was born in 1812.Sarah was born in 1817 in Kentucky.
