Hi Loretta,
I was just surfing the net and came across your post regarding Martin Duckett and Margaret Lawless. They are great great grandparents of mine. What I have learned so far is that they had 10 children, the first two, including my great grandfather (James P., baptized Patrick James Duckett) were born in Ireland. The rest were born in Manchester, England. Two of the eight, Catherine and Francis, emigrated to the U.S. in 1883.Catherine d. 1913 in Tewksbury, Mass.I have Martin (1866-1907) who m. Lydia Holcroft in 1885.They had one son, James Robert, who died young.I also have Edward (1868-1875) and Mary (1877-1881).The rest I know nothing about except what I found on the British censuses.I think that you know that mt great grandfather emigrated around 1872 and d. in Denver in 1930.I haven't learned anything about his younger brother Michael except that he was b. abt. 1851 and went to school in Dublin with my great grandfather 1861-1862.Hope this helps. If you have anything else on this line I certainly would appreciated hearing from you.
Regards,
