Anyone who makes the transition from copying gedcom and 'tree' posts on the web to fact-based genealogy will find incongruities and inconsistencies and many, many errors have been posted myriad times.
The vast majority of such things, including most posts by the one you named, are simply lifted from others' trees and web sites, who in turn lifted from others.
I am sorry I don't have evidentiary data on this particular family.
But congratulations on getting down to 'brass tacks'. You will find fact-based genealogy is much more interesting and satisfying than copying from the web errobase.
