Thank you again Elaine. While I believe John T. Lawler (d. 1900)is definitely my great-great grandfather, I don't believe that Bragan or Burton are relations of mine.

I hate to keep bugging you with questions (I am very new to this research), but when you say that Michael and Anne were buried at Calvary, that is referring to a cemetery in Ireland, right? I found one in County Louth and one in County Wexford. I'm thinking Wexford may be correct; there are 4 Lawlers buried there after 1900, so I think it is a good guess. All the research I've done so far points to my family coming from Laois, though, so I'm not sure how they would have ended up in Wexford. My only thought is that the family might have moved to Wexford during the Famine since Laois was hit so hard. That could also explain why John Lawler didn't emigrate until 1865.

I really appreciate all your help.
Sarah
