The two postings in the name of Jo Wicker are an error. All responses to this family inquiry should come to me. Thank you.
I am attempting to solve our genealogical puzzle.

First let me give you my line for this gets confusing at best.

Joel Lawhon married Katherine Furr (Catherine?) I have NO dates for them.
they had two sons: Leonard Weston Lawhon and Lewis Lawhon.

Leonard Weston Lawhon was born in 1803 and died in 1892, married Anne R. Dowd and had a daughter named Mary Frances "Molly" Lawhon. The well known Reverend William Henry H. Lawhon was the brother of Mary Frances "Molly" Lawhon. They all lived in Moore Co., NC.

Lewis Lawhon was born in 1813 and died in 1908, married Minnie Ann Shields. They had a son named Joel Lawhon. (I haven't a clue where Lewis and Minnie are buried.)

Joel Lawhon was born in 1839 and died in 1911 married Mary Frances "Molly" Lawhon -- yes, they were first cousins. (Their burial sites are also needed.)

Joel and Molly had a daughter named Lillie Lawhon that married John W. Harrington. Lillie Lawhon and John Harrington were the parents of my father Lewis B. Harrington.

I do have some dates on the above individuals. Do you have any information on the parents of Joel Lawhon and Katherine Furr. Joel seemed to appear on the scene, don't know where from, maybe Cumberland or Johnston County, NC?

Are you familiar with these names? Thank you for reading my letter, I do hope we can solve this puzzle.

Lillie F. Harrington Davis
