Hi Barbara,

I don't have a Lawrence in my database. Do you have a subscription to Ancestry? I tried checking and there is a record for an Ontario birth for a Alexander-Lawrence Laviolette, born Nov. 14, 1898 in Parry Sound, Glengarry, Ontario. Father; George Laviolette, mother, Maria King. It wasn't a registered birth so they listed an informant of birth, Ronald McDonald and Agnes Thompson. I don't know if this is the one your looking for, but it could be. I'll keep looking and let you know. I'll see if my mother-in-law has any info on him.
