Are you related to Don Laviolette in Diamondale, Mi. I have talked to him about Julius Laviolette before. In a census that he sent me a photo copy of, not sure of the year, it lists two Julius Laviolettes one from Norway, Michigan in what is now Dickison County, then Menominee county and the other from Berrin, Hagar Twn. Julius from Norway was married to a Katie, and the Julius from Berrin was married to Mary J from Belgium. Which one is yours? I'm related to many of the Laviolettes in the U.P. of Mich. and had two spinster aunts that lived in Lansing, Mich. near the capitol. My line is with Godfrey Laviolette that married a Marie Louise Poitras. They came from Clarence Creek, Ont. in 1890 and moved to Escanaba, Mich. Godfrey's parents were Louis Laviolette and Josephte or Emile Seguin. One of Louis' brother was Leon. I have pictures of many Laviolettes.
