Ok..so this is a long shot but my ancestor was Ellen Lavin born about 1838 from Frenchpark Roscommon Ireland. Her Father was Thomas Lavin and her mother was Nora (Honora?) O'Donald or O'Donnell. I know she had brothers Thomas, John and Patrick Lavin and that they all immigrated to the US. I know also that Ellen married Martin Rogers also from Frenchpark. Pat, John and Ellen all settled in Litchfield Ct. but we don't know where Thomas went. Does any of this match any of your information?
Thanks,
Cathy
