Hello Rose,
I am always trying to locate any relatives(up or down the tree) to share Information about ancestors. I have located many 2nd cousins through these genealogy forums, and when convenient even got to meet a couple of them which was nice. The lady I was talking about was named Emelianna(the spelling might be a bit off...).She was the sister of my ggrandmother Georgianna Rochon.Emelianna's mother was a (Poudrette)(Lavigne), and Emelianna married a Lavigne and had at least 5 children, one of which was a Leo, and another was Romeo.I forget the others' names, but I could try and locate them for you.The Lavigne ancestry I have is of Leo's g-grandmother Sophie who is sometimes listed as Lavigne, sometimes as Poudrette(what we knew her as) and officially I guess it would be Poudret(te) dit Lavigne. She was the daughter of Hyacinthe Poudrette and Marie Louise Seguin(the 3rd one by that name in my tree!)If you think it connects to your tree, don't hesitate to contact me at my E-mail adress. Thanks for your input,Helene Blake.
