My great grandparents Matthew & Hannah Laverick Havelock came to the U.S. from England. Hannah's parents were George Laverick and Mary Ann Dixon Laverick. Hannah was born May 12, 1854 or 1856. Came to U.S. about 1891.
Matthew & Hannah had several children born in England before coming to the U.S. According to some old records children were born in Inglely Greenhow, Durham and New Seaham (not sure if these are correct names).
