Hello, I'm looking for my roots. I know this: I'm of Irish descent, probably Co. Mayo. All my grandparents were long dead before I was born and my father was very young, hence I know not much of my family, and I'm in need of help. All the records I have been able to find are my grandfather's birth certificate, the name Leonard David Lavelle b. 1905 in Scranton, PA, USA. On the Birth Certificate is his father(my great-grandfather) name only as Frank Lavelle. That's all I have to try to work with. If any of this sounds familiar, please contact me. Also, My name is Lorin Francis Lavelle Jr. and I now live in Minneapolis, MN, USA. My father was born(Lorin F. Lavelle) in Connecticut, USA and his brothers are spread out on the East Coast. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'll check back here for updates. Thank you
