I am looking for Catherine Lavelle who married John or Patrick or Peter McGovern in Ireland. She would have been born around 1810 - 1820's. From the scant info that I have, she may have been in Newport, County Mayo. Her son John Joseph McGovern, was my g-grandfather. His brother Patrick's obit here in Richmond, VT. says he was born in Newport, County Mayo. There are three different names given for her husband by the various doccuments that we have, so I don't know if she married John, Patrick or Peter McGovern.
Sure would appreciate some info on these people!
