I have scanned the records concerning Toussaint Lavanway from the St. Croix and St. Luc church registers. I would be happy to e-mail copies to anyone interested or to a web-site. There is a discrepancy with the dates of Toussaint's marriage and children's baptisms of the previous message. The registry index list the years as 1791 and 1792 vice 1781. The records themselves list "mil sept cent quarte vingt onze[and douze]" i.e. one thousand seven hundred four twenties eleven [twelve]."

My understanding of the French language is limited to the basics. If there is anyone who would be willing to translate these records, it would be greatly appreciated.
