Hi Marie,

I believe this is the same family. The information that I have shows Michel's parents as Michel (b. 1789) and Apolline.
The elder Michel's parents I have as Pierre (b. 1759) and Marie Agathe.
Pierre's parents were Francois (b.1730) and Madeleine.
Francois' parents were Jean Francois and Marguerite.
Any additional information you have will be greatly appreciated. Also, do you know if there was any Native American ancestry in this line?
I'm also looking for information on Michel and Cecelia's children, especially John H. LaValley, born 1850 in Orwell, VT.
Thanks for your help.
