Terry, From what I understand Martin Lavallee is from Quebec and was with the Northwest Company. I saw a copy of a contract he signed in 1810 to go to Michimilimackinac. At some point in time he along with his brother Ignace ended up in the Red River area. Marie Lambert was from the Athabaska area and in the metis scrip some of her children name her as Marie Lambert and some list her as Marie Robert.
I do not have any more on her ancestors. I would appreciated any info on her if you have any. Regards, Wayne
