Hi Cathy:
After reading your dates, I'm not sure if the families are connected, so I'll just give you the info I have. My line consists of Jacob Laux born April 14, 1853 in Honesdale, PA. He moved to Sayre at some point. His children were Leo John, b. 1894, Mary, b. 1875, Jacob, b. abt. 1877 (I don't think he lived to adulthood), Anna, b. 1881, Evaline, b. 1883 and Emma, b. 1889. Jacob's father was Martin, b. abt. 1823 in Baden Germany. His children were Jacob, Mary b., abt. 1854, Catharine, b. abt. 1855, Peter, b. abt. 1857 and Michael, b. abt. 1859. I don't know anything about Martin (the immigrant). He may have had a brother who immigrated also. Let me know if any of the above names fit. P.S. My father-in-law is John Peter Laux, b. 1929 in Philadelphia.
