Agustin Laugier/French Ambassador to Mexico/1800's

Sketchy family information indicates that Agustin Laugier was in Mexico serving as an ambassador from France. He married Maria Girard when she was about 15 years old and was several years older than her.

Their daughter Maria Hortencia Laugier Girard married Guillermo Maurico Hefferan in 1906 or 1910. This may have been in the Queretaro, Mexico area. Hortencia died in 1951 in Mexico City.

Agustin and Maria may have also had a daughter named Maria Luisa Laugier Girard that died about 1935.

Do you have any information on these individuals that you can share? Are you aware of any records that can be searched for information on individuals that served as ambassadors, records that were kept by either France or by Mexico?
