Hello Judith! The actor Charles Laughton was my great grandfather's cousin. (I have also sent a message to Erina Cresswell as we would appear to be linked to Charles,in which I referred to Charles as 2 times 'great' by mistake! - Apologies!) His mothers maiden name was Conlon and she was of Irish farming stock. Charles and his brother Frank did not have children but I do not know whether Tom did and I am not aware of a sister Eliza? Please will you let me know where you fit into the family.
