Sorry, Rhonda but I just cannot pass up chance to ask if ANYTHING new has been found on a HUKY(E) and CLAUDIA(HUNT) marriage ANYWHERE in Tennessee or N C or ALA or Miss?!
I can find absolutely NO record of such a union but I do keep on HOPING!
I've looked in Maury Co where IT IS SAID Harriet was born and still have failed to find ANY record of our HUKY(E) ever having been there (though he well MAY have been as he was in Franklin Co in 1812)
HOWEVER , he had been in Franklin Co Georgia from at least 1801 until about 1810(when his property was given to a man for a judgement rendered against Huky(e)).
I certainly do not doubt tht Claudia was his second or third wife but WHEN and WHERE???? Believe that could help me fill in some badly needed holes in his career
