Certainly possible and an interesting conjecture, though I'm not sure who the "Nancy 2 f (your nancy)" was.
Some notes from Polk County Abstract of Wills, though, mention:
1 July 1867Joseph W. Laughter
Wife: Jane
Son: L.J. Laughter
S/law: Lewis McGuinn
Daus: Jane A.B. McGuinn
Katherine Weaver
Nancy McGuinn
Exec: L.J. Laughter, son
Lewis McGuinn
Wit: Nesbit Dimsdale
James Egerton
Unfortunately, I don't know if 1 July 1867 is the date of the will or the date of the probate or the date of recording, etc.
Also, notes from other indexes reflect:
"Laughter, Saleaner m. Ruff, Geo. W. 18 Sept 1863" and "Ruff, G.W., Laughter, S.N. 18 Sept 186[3 or 5]."
The will could have been dated some years prior to probate, and Saleaner or S.N. could refer to Nancy L.Hopefully there will eventually be sufficient informatin to resolve some of the possibilities.
