Beverley "Lynn" Holste, Bremerton, WA Feb. 4, 1945 to Dec. 19, 2008.
Lynn was born in Newport, RI, to Robert and Beverley (Rusk) Laughlin. She was raised in Whittier, CA where she met and married her husband, Robert. Upon returning from a 10 month "honeymoon" in Puerto Rico, they were blessed with a son, Richard (Yvonne) and twin daughters, Kimberley of Las Vegas, NV, and Elizabeth (Glen) Jaques of Jackson, WY.
After a short but special several years in San Diego, they moved to Bremerton in 1972, where they continued to raise their family. Lynn spent many pleasant hours at the Bremerton Tennis and Swim Club playing tennis with friends. She enjoyed her family and her hobbies of cooking, sewing, and a fondness for animals, especially her cats. She continued her involvement with family by becoming a Campfire leader and teaching cooking classes to all ages, especially children. She started and managed the gift store at the Naval Undersea Museum at Keyport. She especially enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and Southern California in later years.
She is survived by her husband and 3 children along with 3 grandchildren. As she requested, no additional services are planned. Anyone caring to can make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
