Thank you for replying, Fred. I believe we connect somewhere. My grandfather was George Andrew Lauver b. 1885, Ia.. His father was Joseph Amon (should this be with one m or two?), son of Joseph Lauver and Elizabeth Lydia Musser. This Joseph was the son of Michael Lauver and Catherine Swalley. Michael's father and mother were Michael Lauver and Anna Kendig. My sister has received some information from Paula Deml and my neice had been in brief contact with Pat Simonett some years back. My neice gave me the information she had to work with but there was not even as much information as is shown here.
