Dear Ruta,

Thank you for your reply. By chance, I recently found the nekropole website and also the www.genealogyindexer.org website. Both are very exciting and valuable websites. However, I had not used the nekropole website to locate cemeteries in a certain area. I have only input names, only to get twenty other individuals who had the same name.

With the genealogyindexer website, I found an Arvids Rozentals in Riga and another Arvid in another area, using the 1940 Latvian telephone directory. Without more information, I do not know for sure which one would actually be my father.

Again thank you, Linda Gathings
