Hello Linda,
hello Arturs,

Linda, you are welcome, it's a pleasure to help.

I had the place Veckalsnava already on the radar, but I could not prove it.
The entries where found in the church books by Artur are a winner. His geographical indications I can confirm.
Unfortunately, the problem of finding small towns or farms from the period before 1900 in cards is fundamental. First exact geographical maps are only from the time of first World War.
Also gazetteer usually do not include small towns or farms.
Although I get all general maps to 1912 and all geographical maps from 1912 to 1944 and a own database of over 56,000 place names. In this case it is not availed.

Linda, If you need a help with the translation of the church book entries, please sign up with me.

Best greetings

Ps: Arturs if all goes well, i visit Riga in early August 2013. I would be very happy to meet you there.
If you're interested, we will exchange additional information via e-mail.
