AMOLIN Hi Deborah. Will you still get this message I wonder? ( Are you still at 'pickletoes etc?)
Could the name be Amolin? I'm not an expert, but I don't think Latvian sirnames end in 'ing' very often. There is some interesting information about John (Janis) Amolin who left Latvia and came to Australia in 1907 and fought in the Australian Army. He had an equally interesting cousin Ian (Jan) Rosing (Rozitis) at the same time who also joined the Australian Army.
I have 6 pages and photos all researched off the web.
Might not be the same Amolin/g, but if your family, could be of interest. Ingrid.
