Emma, you left some rather vital information out of your query, and nobody here will be able to help you until you supply it:
First and foremost, you left out dates! You gave absolutely no indication whatsoever when any of the people you mentioned lived. You're going to have to give at least approximate dates of birth. Did they live 100 years ago? 125 years ago? 150 years ago? 200 years ago?
You also failed to mention if the specific people you mention here emigrated to Australia. If so, which of these people was it and when did they emigrate?
And last not least, you posted your query here on the Lativia message board but you failed to explain the connection of this family to Latvia.
