Hi! Searching information on bearers of surname Veidins. Alexander Weiding was Latvian. He came from Kronenberg (Lorupe) manor near Sigulda in the middle of the 19th century and settled in Hargla (nowadays Estonia). I also know of Janis (Jaan) who had the same name and lived in Hargla. His dauhgter Anna was my grandmother.
Anna Veidins and her son Karlis Veidins (both deceased) who lived in California were my relatives.
