Hello,
I am looking for possible descendants of Andreas Virsis and Adele Johanna Nitte (b.11.12.1867).
They were married in Kuressaare (Saaremaa island)ev.lutherian church in Oct. 1887. Andreas worked as a head of local telegraph station and was born (or came from) in Taurkaln(s) (sounds very latvian!) There are evidence about their following children: Alexander (1888-1888), Marie Wilhelmine Adele (1889 -), Andreas (1891-1891), Friedrich (1891-1891), Elisabeth Luise Sophie (1893 -) and Gerda Thekla Josepha (1895 -). The family dissappears from the church records approximately at the turn of century - they possible left Saaremaa and moved into some other place.
My great-grandfather Aleksei Niit was unofficial son of Peter Nitte, the father of Adele Johanna Nitte.
