I far as I know there is no connection with North America, he was residing in Windsor, Berks, England in 1851 and 1861, his age was put as 54 and 68, could not find him in 1871.
I think I found his death in Windsor, but unfortunately I'm having a problem getting into my files at the moment. If I find anything to do with N. America I will let you know.
