Latter Family

I have found out through research that my husband's grandfather Albert Charles Latter was killed in action during WW1 in France in 1917. His widow Margaret Latter was left with a young son Albert Austin Russell Latter. At some stage of his life his surname was changed to Scrivener. We don't know when or why.

Margaret Latter went to work (presumably as a housekeeper or cook)at Merribee Sheep Station at Barellan in NSW.

At some stage she also worked at "Napperly" or "Mapperly" Station at Mullallay near Gunnedah. Does anyone know whether this place still exists or has it been broken up and sold off.

I hope there is someone who can fill in the missing pieces of the jigsaw.
