Leonard C. Oliver and Marietta Latta Dennis were married around 1898 in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. It was his fourth or fifth marriage and her second. She married Frank Dennis first and had two daughters, Josephine Dennis and Harriet Dennis. She and Leonard C. Oliver had Thomas J. Oliver, Reita Maude, William Roosevelt, Lena, Agnes Blanche, Bertha, Hellen, Mary, Ruth, and James. Some of these children died at birth or very young.
