Hello - I'm looking for additional information on my great-great-great-grandpa, Robert Latta. I know he was born in 1802 on Orange County, NC. It appears that his father was named Thomas Latta, however, that is all I know of his origins.

Robert married Nancy Riley June 29, 1827 and worked as a blacksmith in Orange County. They had 7 children:

Ann Latta b 1830
Wiley Preston Latta b 1834
Jane Latta b 1836
Priestly Latta b 1837
William Latta b 1839
Lucy Latta b 1837
James Latta b 1846

If anyone has any information on Robert Latta and/or his parents, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
