Hi Harry,
The info I have is they fled from France and went to Germany.
This info below is what I found ok.
In 1656 Thomas LaTour was born. Don't know where and don't know his parents name either.
Suspect the place was eastern France, possibly Lorraine.
Know that him and his family were temporarily living in Blieskastel, near Zweibrucken, In 1696 when Thomas (Joannes
Thomas)was born. Hermann (Joannes Hermannus) was born,
probably in Blieskastel between 1697 and 1702. Then the family moved to Hablock, where Elizabeth (Elisabetha), Anna
Margaret (Anna Margaretha) and George Michael (Georgius Michael) were born. Thomas LaTour, oldest known LATTURE
ancestor died in February of 1734.
Hermann the son of Thomas was married to Anna Elizabeth FONGALLON on June 22,1723 in Habloch. The marriage record also listed his father as Thomas.
I have lots more info and I bet we are connected don't you think?
I don't know what a Hugunot is or means? Can you tell me?
