Robert Dudas 5/31/11
New info on Arthur and I believe a potential other Son.Note first that I have been suspecting a Robert and Stephen being brothers/cousins ... having been born in the 1640's.New addition/change to that with likely being three brothers/cousins ... Robert, Stephen, John.Robert and John having stayed in Ireland (John is a near-to/decade younger than Robert and Stephen).Either which way ... I'm breaking down the relations of the Latimers from Ireland and steps further towards taking them back to when they came to Ireland from England and the Barony line.
... and here we go ...
Notes:
Millrow Presbyterian Church became 1st Antrim Presbyterian Church in 1860.
Arthur Latimer, b. abt 1690 (likely before that) in Antrim (likely not Newry).
Cavan Latimer family likely came from the offspring of on of Arthur's Brothers/Cousins (Brother John, brother/cousin Alexander)
Arthur's First Wife:

Mary Wilson 1687 Millrow Pres Ch, Antrim, Antrim, Parents: James Wilson and Elizabeth Gowan
Mary has a brothers and cousins:
John (cousin/brother...poss son of her Uncle John Wilson)
Thomas (brother, explains the Thomas' that Arthur's kids named for children of theirs)
Frank (cousin and son of John Wilson)
2nd Wife: Rebecca Whiteside M in Delaware
Arthur's likely siblings and he would be one of or the last born; Father trying to have males:

John 1684 (Has a son John born in 1710) M1708Millrow
Martha 1672 M1693Millrow
Anna 1682 M1706Millrow
Helen 1678
Jenet 1676 M1697Millrow
(still possible that these are cousins and still possible that later mentioned Alexander, Arthur and these above are all siblings)
Arthur's Father/Parents:
John Latimer (Lattimer/Latimore) 1652
Mother 1656 ?
M: abt. 1677
Arthur possible Cousins, which suggests a brother of John:
Anna Latimore 1685 Antrim, Antrim
Alexander 1679 antrim, antrim, M1704Millrow; (son John born in 1710 Millrow, Sarah 1713); maybe Arthur brother/cousin?
David Latimoor Carnmoney (East of Antrim in Antrim Co); likely a nephew of Arthur's:
David's children: Agnes, Charles, Margrat, Sarah

I strongly believe that Arthur and Mary had another Son/Nephew named Arthur:
b. 1710 Ireland, Wife named Mary born in Ireland and married abt. 1730, could be brother/cousin Alexander's son and twin of Alexander's John or twin of brother John's John, wife and he died in Northampton Pennsylvania
New questions:
- Who are John Lattimer/Latimoor's parents?
- John is born in 1652 while Robert and Stephen were born in the 1640's ... brothers/cousins?
- ??? We are now only 1-3 generations from hooking up the Ireland Latimer family to the England-based Latimers.Captain Robert (b. 1603 and his brother named Christopher) are just 2-3 generations away at this point, who are already tied to the barony.I'm suspecting that Robert, Stephen and John are cousins to Captain Robert and Christopher's offspring's children. ???
