Latimers of Montville, New London, and Coventry, Ct.

I am related to the latimer descendants of Captain Robert Latimer of New London, Ct. My grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Latimer of Montville, Ct. Her father was William C. Latimer also of Montville. I have his death certificate from Coventry, Ct. and it shows his parents as Samuel Latimer (b. 1802: d. 1863 in Montville) and Amy Smith (b. 1810: d. 1886 in Montville). I have been unsuccessful in getting birth certificates for William C. or Samuel Latimer. Can anyone help me? William Swanback
