Dear Marilyn,

I have a photocopy of a page from an old, old Bible that has the birth dates and death dates for both Jonathan Latimer and his wife, Lucretia Griswold, written on it in beautiful flowing, ornate, old-fashioned script. (The "s" in Griswold is written as an "f", as they did back then.) This copy was sent to me 37 years ago by Mary Lou Dalton, 38703-31st St.East,Palmdale, Calif 93550. (I doubt if she is still alive, because I will be 85 in a few short weeks.)

I could mail you a copy of my copy by regular mail, because I do not know how to scan the page into this Forum.

Following is the information:
Jonathan Latimer Jun Was Born
May 25 172l.
Lucretia Grifwold wife to Jonathan(4) Latimer Jr Was
Born March 26 1730.
Jonathan Latimer died October 18th 1806.
Lucretia Latimer died July 11 1820. Aged 90.

There are three places that a letter--or some kind of symbol--is written in between the month and the date, but I can't decipher them, nor do I know what they mean. Sorry!

Enjoy your detective work in the fascinating search for info in genealogy! Sincerely, Mildred Beitzel
