Dear Ms. Calkins,

I am unable to respond directly to you, as your e-mail address is "hidden", so I hope this will suffice.

There were several books I consulted for the Lathrop/Lothrop family in I suggest that you utilize the "Google Books" search engine by inputting (exactly, including the quotation marks,) "Frances Eliza Lothrop", "Frances Eliza Lathrop", and "Frances Eliza Lothrop Lathrop".

The four main books I found and used there were:

1. The Cyclopaedia of American Biography, Vol. III, James Grant Wilson, et al., Press Association Compilers, Inc., New York City, New York, 1918. (At roughly page 228);

2. Memoir of Rev. Samuel Kirkland Lothrop, D.D., L.L.D., Andrew P. Peabody, Proceedings of the Massachusetts Historical Society, Boston, Massachusetts, 1888. (At roughly page 161);

3. The New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Vol. 16, The New England Historical and Genealogical Society, Boston, Massachusetts, 1862. (At roughly page 293); and

4. Biographical Sketches of the Graduates of Yale College, by Franklin Bowditch Dexter, Yale University Press, New Haven, Connecticut, 1907. (At roughly pages 559 through 561).

I hope that is helpful to you.
