Thanks to the kind person who provided me with some information - I have tracked down 5 home addresses and the cemetery.
New mystery: a letter from the military records dept. to an Etta Lathrop of Newell St. Syracuse NY in 1907 informing heer that my GF was in the marines in Panama and how to reach him. I also seem to have a marriage certificate between Minetta Kinne and Edward Lathrop. Also reference to GF as Claude COLVIN Lathrop.
Hmmmmm........Is Minetta Etta, and perhaps Edward and Minetta are my GGF and GGM? Anybody know about these two?
