I am seeking information on the name of the first husband of Ida E. Latham. She was born in Vinton, Benton, IA about 1878. She married a Mr. Huppert about 1897 and had two children: Elwin born October 21, 1898 and Hilda Leona March 28, 1901. Something happened to Mr. Huppert and she remarried William M. Davis about 1907; they had at least one son, Leo L. Davis.
Any further help with this identification would certainly be appreciated.
Ida E. Latham is the daughter of John Frances Latham and Martha Etta Lucy Markham (my line).
In the 1900 Census for Muscatine County, IA, I found a census record for a family named Hubbard with Lorren, Ida and Lucius E.
In the 1885 Census for Iowa, there is a Lorne E. Huppert listed in Benton County, son of Jacob and Susan. Ida wa born in Benton County.
