Yes, this might be tied in with my Lathams. My Charles Latham was born in New London, CT and migrated to Milan, Huron Co., OH(@1817). His son (also Charles) moved to Kent Co., MI(@1849) and then I lose him. However, his daughter Rachel Adelphia Latham was found living with the Castleberry family in Bath, Mason Co., IL in 1860 Census.
I've always wondered if Nelson & Nancy Latham, living in nearby county of McDonough, IL in 1860, weren't somehow related. He also was born in CT, with kids born in OH; in fact, he was in the same county as my Charles- Huron Co., OH- in 1850. Another possible tie-in: My Charles had uncles named Ira, Lewis, and Nelson. I found an Ira Latham nearby in MI with kids named Nelson and Charles. And your Nelson Latham has kids named Charles and Lewis. A coincidence? Maybe...

I have a copy of the census if you want it- it'll save you a trip to the Archives!
