Hello again,

My Dad had two books and I thought the info was in the Tysor book but it was not, it is in the Clegg book, The Cleggs of Old Chatham, pages 116 and page 126. This book he did in partnership with The Clegg Family Association so if you are looking for his books they will probably be listed as Clegg Family Association instead of WH Broughton.

Also, I looked on and checked all the names in your inquiry for Mary's siblings and in-laws and found something amazing. One of Riddick's ancestors was apparently Cherokee, back three or so generations! I thought I did not have any Indian blood. Delighted to know this new (fact?) short of taking a DNA test!

Thanks for answering so speedily! Do you live in NC? I do, and not so far from where Mary E. Lassiter lived.
