Digging for even parents' info of 5 LASSETER siblings in west Texas by early last century. Zachary farmed cotton, and Margaret Elizabeth LASSETER POWELL was postmistress; lived at Westbrook until their deaths, about in the 1960s. Mellie married a VAN HORN and moved to Odessa, had 2 daughters Pauline and Angel. Dock or "Doc" lived somewhere close by. The fifth brother was a good bit older, dunno his name - yet.

Who's got a LASSETER that left GA sometime after the civil war, headed to Texas?
