POISONED BEANS CAUSE 2 DEATHS
Crowell, Tex. July 20 [AP]- As a result of eating poisoned beans Wednesday, J.B. LASSATER, farmer, and his 5 year old daughter, MARY, are dead and 5 other members of the family were seriously ill today.
A 2 year old baby, who went to bed without supper, was the only member of the family to escape.
County officials said an examination showed the beans developed poison after being canned.
