How positive are you that your Jacob is the son of Peter Jacob? I have my Jacob living his whole life in Pennsylvania, and then have his son Andrew also born in Pennsylvania but later moving to Indiana. I think one of us has a glitch - not sure which of us. I do know that my family was associated with the Bretheren up until the time of my great grandfather Walter, my grandfather was the first one not brought up in that faith due to losing his mother when a young boy, at which point he moved to Wisconsin to live with his maternal grandparents. It is very possible that we have more than one Jacob in the family as names were quite often passed down and used repeatedly in the same family. Jacob has been the most elusive in my research - could well be the glitch is on my side.
